Nuptial, Vyarka Kozareva

Charles Hood, Static Electricity Station

Under the street lamp rays
Two shadows dance,
Fluctuating from weak to mighty
And vice versa,
Within the range of vision,
Beyond expectations,
Pink powder speckled.
With a single step
Light takes a bite of dark,
Until dark wouldn’t cram
All bridal jewels in its sack,
Then reels and unreels silken threads
Of fixedness.
Love, in the image of reflection,
Eavesdrops from a table in the corner.
