Juxtaposed next to the cement circle and rust colored steel ring at its center,
Looks like part of a colossal clock,
Keeping time beside a cool cement bunker assuredly not present when the explorers visited.
An unremarkable coastal hillock, like so many others here at the mouth of the Columbia
While the vacant lookout scans clouds and wind, trees, bushes, water and air.
