Death of a classmate, out of touch for years,
Her kiss returns, the skin of her slick face,
Feel of the little hairs around her lips,
Her tolerance of those around my lips,
The fog in, low, outside the sweaty dance,
And this among my memories of her,
Her cheerful admonition, “Watch that hand!”
