We run an on-line forum that has been a part of the web's community of poetry-related sites for years, having gone through several transformations, but always a vital place for poets to workshop and share ideas on poetics, to develop as writers, to learn and to mentor.

With Triggerfish, we further our commitment to poetry by producing a journal that is freely open to publishing the best poetry we can get our hands on. We intend to complement this poetry with critique on why we find it as fresh and stimulating as we do. We chose the Triggerfish for its characteristic of burrowing into sea urchins to get at the meat. As a journal, it's our intention to follow suit with the work we choose to publish.
